Ballet Lingerie Socks vs. Regular Fuzzy Socks: What's the Difference?
Share
Fuzzy socks are everywhere. So what makes a ballet lingerie sock different? Jay and Marie learned it the hard way: Marie put on her Smartwools one night, her feet got warm, and her presence disappeared because she did not feel sexy in them.
Design
A ballet lingerie sock is cut low like a ballet slipper, with a satin ribbon that crosses the foot and wraps the ankle. A regular fuzzy sock is built only for warmth.
Feel
Both can be soft. Ours are made from 90% fuzzy polyester, 5% spandex and 5% elastic, with a 100% satin ribbon, so they stay snug and stretchy.
Look
The ribbon is the point. It turns a basic sock into something that reads like lingerie for your feet.
Best use
- Regular fuzzy socks: everyday warmth, lounging, sleeping.
- Ballet lingerie socks: date nights, gifts, getting dressed up to stay in.
Sizing and care
We offer Small/Medium (US 6-8) and Large/XL (US 8.5-11) in red, black and white. Wash cold and hang dry.
